My Ramblings...
this is the first time i feel like my song writing has really clicked. i mean me and cole has been writing music together for years and by the time this came out id been making music with caleb in mouse for a year or so, but nothing i'd made by myself felt like it had any common direction or style until i put this together.
listening to a bunch of kimya dawson, jeffrey lewis and mountain goats definitly kicked of my obbsession with weird alt folk. but weirdly this album doesnt feel that folky to me song writing wise. its kinda loud indie rock music but stripped back production.
fun fact: me and cole performed souls on guitar and bass with a drum machine at the last 2 pablum shows (ill have to fine that video somewhere)
